DE-TUNE is the musical home of German composer Dirk Ehlert. Since 2010 he has written thousands of cues for TV, Trailers, Games, films and advertising being used all over the world (IMDB) and gained Millions of views and listens on Youtube and Spotify.

In 2017 he released his first solo album “Elements” featuring amazing Epic Music vocalists from all over the world under Los Angeles based Epic Music label “dos brains”.

2018 he moved to Los Angeles and co-founded the production music catalogues “DOCUscores” and “REALITYscores”. 2020 he crossed the 10k following mark with his Youtube channel on all things composing / sampling / digital audio workstations. Via CTO (composingtutorials.online) he gives insight into his composing workflow, new sample libraries and general production tips.

2021 he moved to Spain and started working on a new side project “DE-TUNE” which is best defined as Cinematic Ambient Postrock. In April 2021 the first 3-Track EP “Skyglow” is released to all digital platforms.

Besides the Production Music catalogues he currently works on “Elements 2” which is planned to be released by fall of 2023.
